Catalog and modifiers

Customers choose the details.
Your team receives them.

Products, services and additional choices belong in the catalog, not in a chain of clarifying messages. SABSUS keeps selected modifiers attached to the order line, so the website, checkout and fulfillment team work with the same customer choice.

  1. 01 · StructureOrganize the product or service and its option sets.
  2. 02 · ChooseLet customers select the available additions.
  3. 03 · ReviewShow the configured selection and price in the cart.
  4. 04 · FulfillKeep the choices with the correct order line.

One product name is not enough to prepare an order.

A drink with one milk choice and a second drink with another are not interchangeable lines. A service with an added treatment is not the base service with an informal comment. Structured choices make the agreed sale clearer for the customer and for the employee who prepares it.

Food and beverage modifiers

Present the configured sizes, additions and preparation choices through option sets. Preserve the selection on its own line when the same base product is ordered in different configurations.

Service add-ons

Offer the additional services that belong with a booking. Review the selected work, configured price and service duration before committing the appointment.

Useful catalog information

Use categories, images and approved product fields to make the selection understandable. Multilingual names and descriptions help customers choose without creating unrelated copies of the operational item.

Availability by sales context

Use the actual establishment, channel and order-type settings when showing products. A product visible for pickup should not be promised for delivery unless its configured availability allows it.

Stock and availability

Build the cart around the final selection.

Illustrative example: two identical base products have different additions. Keep them as separate configured lines, show the choices again before checkout and pass the same details to preparation. When a customer returns to edit the cart, preserve the selection rather than reconstructing it from a display label.

A retail variant with its own stock identity and a modifier added to another product are different catalog decisions. Choose the correct model for pricing, stock and preparation; do not infer inventory behavior from the appearance of a dropdown.

Catalog questions

Can one business sell both goods and services?

Yes. SABSUS supports product and service catalogs within the wider order and customer workflow. Booking requirements and physical fulfillment remain specific to the selected item.

Are the displayed choices enough to validate an order?

No. The server must validate the current product, option sets, selected choices, availability and price when the order is submitted. A stale cart is not the source of truth.

Can the catalog be used on a branded website?

Yes. SABSUS Site can present the company's offered catalog with an authored design while native order and modifier rules remain authoritative.

Start with your most complicated item.

Bring its options, price rules and preparation requirements. Test the full path from selection to the employee's order, not just the product card.
