Email Studio: email creation and controlled sending

From an email idea
to a reviewed send.

Build editable emails, use company templates and AI assistance, review the content and submit it through a configured channel. Email Studio is an operational tool. The new Mail inbox interface is currently a demonstration prototype.

Working data requires an account, permissions and relevant connections.

01 / A clear workflow

A good email starts before the Send button

Suppose you need to tell customers about a service update. First establish the audience and permission to contact them, then prepare and review the email before sending.

  1. 01

    Describe the brief

Choose a template or describe the email's purpose to AI. Creating the document does not send anything.

  2. 02

    Edit the content

Adjust blocks, subject, preheader, images, links and variables. Remove unsupported promises.

  3. 03

    Review before sending

Inspect the browser preview, validation hints, recipients and permission to contact them.

  4. 04

    Follow the state

Submit through configured Gmail or Mailgun. Check history and receipts rather than treating a queued message as delivered.

Operational Email Studio capabilities

01

An editable email builder

Use sections, columns and blocks for text, headings, images, buttons, products, dividers and footers. Adjust styles and mobile overrides, move and duplicate blocks, and use undo and redo.

02

A shared library and personal drafts

Templates are available to the company, while drafts belong to the account. Cloud saving tracks revisions and exposes unsaved changes or errors. Access depends on the current company and permissions.

03

AI turns a brief into a document

Describe the purpose and content to prepare an editable email. Check its structure, facts, links and tone before use. Availability depends on company AI configuration and resources; generation is not sending.

04

Check the details that matter

Check the subject, links, image descriptions, unfilled variables and unsubscribe content. Browser preview helps assess layout, but it is not a deliverability test or an exact emulator of every email client.

05

Connected email and SMS sending

Email Studio uses configured Gmail or Mailgun for email, with Twilio for SMS. Explicit recipients, completed variables and confirmation of permission to contact them are required. Sender setup affects the company's real connection.

06

History and portable files

Track job states and available message receipts. Export HTML, ZIP, EML or editable JSON. Imported HTML becomes a sanitized HTML block; it does not promise to reconstruct the original design as individual native layers.

Important: two different product states

Email Studio is operational.
The new inbox is a demo.

AI and controlled actions through MCP

The new Mail interface demonstrates an inbox experience: folders, messages, assignments, notes and rules using fictional data. Those actions currently persist locally in the browser and do not receive, synchronize or send real mail. Email Studio's real preparation and sending flow is separate, using its cloud API and connected providers.

  • The inbox demo's Send button does not send email
  • Demo scheduling does not start automatic delivery
  • Actual submission uses the separate Email Studio flow

DEMO

An email example, not a send

Open an illustrative appointment-confirmation HTML file in Russian or English. The example does not create an appointment, send an email or confirm delivery.

03 / Illustrative scenarios

Emails worth making reusable

A service update

Use a company template, update the description and link, and review the audience and consent. Save the document before the separate sending decision.

A first draft from a brief

Ask AI to prepare an email structure, then edit its blocks, facts and wording. The result stays editable rather than becoming an unreviewed campaign.

A consistent team style

Save a reviewed version in the company library so colleagues start from an agreed structure. Personal unfinished drafts remain separate.

These are workflow examples, not customer case studies or promised outcomes.

Requirements and boundaries

Ready to send does not mean delivered

Queued, sent and confirmed delivered are different states. The outcome depends on the provider and recipient. Browser preview does not guarantee identical rendering in every email client. AI requires appropriate resources; built-in image generation is not claimed for the current connector. Mail's demonstration inbox should not be used as an operational shared mailbox.

FAQ

The important
questions.

What is operational in SABSUS Mail and Email Studio?

Email Studio supports editable emails, cloud company templates, account drafts, AI preparation where configured and separate submission through connected channels. The new Mail inbox interface is currently a demonstration.

Can I send through Gmail or Mailgun?

Email Studio provides actual submission through configured Gmail or Mailgun with recipients, content and confirmation of permission to contact them. Check states and receipts: queue acceptance is not delivery.

Does AI automatically send the email it creates?

No. AI prepares an editable document where configured. Review, recipient selection and sending are separate actions.

Does the new inbox receive and synchronize email?

Not currently. It is an interactive prototype with fictional messages and browser-local state. Its folders, assignments, notes and sending controls do not represent actual receiving, synchronization or delivery.

Can I use an email outside SABSUS?

HTML, ZIP, EML and editable JSON exports are available. Check compatibility and rendering in the chosen channel and recipients' email clients; identical results everywhere are not guaranteed.
